Zimbabwe is a landlocked country in southern Africa known for its spectacular scenery and diverse wildlife, much of which inhabits parks, reserves, and safari areas. On the Zimbabwe River, Victoria Falls plunges 108 meters into the narrow Batoka Gorge, where whitewater rafting and bungee jumping are popular. Further down the river are Matusadona and Mana Pools National Parks, home to hippos, rhinos, and birds.
